Although uncommon, the main risks consist of headache, tenderness at injection sites, and flu-like illness in rare cases. In rare cases, ptosis (drooping of the upper eyelid) can occur but is usually minor and not long-lasting.
Results and Recovery Time
Following the injection, it can take 3-10 days to achieve optimal results. The “effect” lasts from three to four months depending on dosage and lifestyle. There is no recovery time for Dysport injections and you may return to normal activities after a few hours.
